Scope

About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy applies to the website available at https://vex-marketing.com/.

It explains how cookies, local storage, technical identifiers and comparable technologies may be used when the website is accessed.

This policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy , which explains how personal information may be handled more generally.

02

Definition

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website may place on a computer, mobile device or other internet-connected device when the website is visited.

Cookies may contain an identifier and additional information that allows a website or service provider to recognise a browser, remember a preference, maintain a session or understand how a service is being used.

Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts and other mechanisms capable of storing or accessing information on a device.

03

Current website

Current configuration

The current version of the VEX Marketing website is a static informational website.

VEX Marketing has not intentionally configured the website to use:

  • advertising or behavioural targeting cookies;
  • social media tracking pixels;
  • audience profiling technologies;
  • newsletter registration cookies;
  • user account or authentication cookies;
  • shopping basket or online payment cookies;
  • first-party analytics cookies.

The website does not currently contain an online contact form. Contact buttons open the visitor's own email application.

Hosting, security or content delivery infrastructure may nevertheless process technical requests or use strictly necessary identifiers depending on the final hosting configuration.

04

Classification

Common cookie categories

Cookies and similar technologies are commonly grouped according to their purpose.

01

Strictly necessary

Technologies required to provide a requested service, maintain security, distribute content or support essential website functionality.

02

Preference

Technologies used to remember settings selected by a visitor, such as language, display or consent preferences.

03

Analytics

Technologies used to understand website traffic, page usage, visitor journeys and technical performance.

04

Advertising

Technologies used to profile interests, measure campaigns or display targeted advertising across websites and platforms.

The description of a category does not mean that the current VEX Marketing website actively uses technologies from that category.

05

Essential operation

Strictly necessary technologies

Some technical operations may be necessary to deliver the website, protect it against abuse, maintain network security or balance traffic between servers.

Depending on the hosting and security services used after publication, necessary technologies may be applied for purposes such as:

  • routing website requests;
  • detecting malicious or automated traffic;
  • maintaining secure connections;
  • protecting the website against technical attacks;
  • remembering a visitor's cookie preference if a consent tool is introduced;
  • supporting essential hosting functionality.

Strictly necessary technologies are not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.

06

Measurement

Analytics and advertising

The current version of the website does not intentionally use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable advertising and behavioural tracking technologies.

If analytics, advertising or conversion measurement tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated to identify:

  • the provider of the technology;
  • the name and purpose of relevant cookies;
  • the duration of each cookie or identifier;
  • whether information is accessible to a third party;
  • the legal basis relied upon;
  • the method for accepting, rejecting or withdrawing consent.

Optional tracking technologies will not be treated as strictly necessary merely because they provide useful business information.

07

External providers

Third-party services

A third-party service is a service operated by an organisation other than VEX Marketing.

Examples may include embedded videos, online maps, social media content, analytics tools, payment providers, live chat systems or external booking services.

The current website is designed without embedded social media feeds, advertising pixels, embedded maps, external video players or live chat tools.

If third-party content is introduced, the relevant provider may place or access its own cookies after the content is activated. Such technologies will be reviewed before deployment and this policy will be updated where necessary.

08

Communication

Email links

Selecting an email address or contact button on this website opens the visitor's chosen email application through a standard mailto: link.

The website does not place a cookie merely because an email link is selected.

Once an email application or external email provider is opened, that service operates under its own privacy and cookie practices. VEX Marketing does not control the technologies used by the visitor's email provider.

09

Permission

Cookie consent

Where the use of a cookie or similar technology requires consent, the technology should not be activated before the visitor has made a valid choice.

A consent mechanism may be introduced if optional analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content or comparable technologies are added to the website.

Where applicable, visitors should be able to:

  • receive clear information about the purposes of optional technologies;
  • accept or reject optional categories;
  • make a choice without pre-selected optional settings;
  • withdraw or change their choice at a later time;
  • continue accessing the website where optional technologies are refused, unless a specific service genuinely depends on that technology.
10

Your choices

Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow users to inspect, block, restrict or delete cookies through their privacy or security settings.

Browser controls may allow you to:

  • delete cookies already stored on a device;
  • block all cookies;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • clear website data when the browser closes;
  • receive a notification before a cookie is stored;
  • manage storage permissions for individual websites.

Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect the operation, security or availability of certain website functions.

11

Revisions

Changes to this Cookie Policy

This policy may be updated when the website, hosting provider, security configuration or third-party services change.

Before introducing an optional technology, VEX Marketing should review whether the policy, consent mechanism and privacy information require modification.

The most recent version will be published on this page. The date shown at the beginning of the document indicates when it was last updated.
